Dr. Stella Dimitrakakis PT, DPT, CFMT, OCS, SFMA L1, PCES

Physical Therapist, Certified Functional Manual Therapist, Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Dr. Stella Dimitrakakis received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bayshore, NY, in 2009. In 2019, Stella became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist™ (CFMT) through the Institute of Physical Art. Since 1998, of the 200,000+ licensed Physical Therapists in the United States, less than 1% have received the distinction of becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist. Dr. Stella became Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association in 2022 which is held only by 4% of all Physical Therapists . Most recently, Dr. Stella became a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through Core Exercise Solutions in 2023.

With 16 years of experience, Dr. Stella offers holistic treatments tailored to address an array of conditions. From musculoskeletal pathologies such as headaches, TMJ, neck and back pain, shoulder pain, to specialized care for pregnancy and postpartum issues, her comprehensive approach ensures personalized solutions. Whether you lead a sedentary or athletic lifestyle, Dr. Stella is passionate about collaborating with individuals of all activity levels to help them reach their health and wellness goals.

Dr. Lauren Scully, PT, DPT, PRPC, PCES

Physical Therapist with over 17 years of experience, Pelvic Rehabilitation Certified Specialist

Dr. Lauren Scully is a physical therapist, with nearly 18 years experience in physical therapy. She received her Bachelor’s and Masters of Science degrees from Ithaca College, and continued-on in her education to graduate with a Doctorate in physical therapy in 2007. A Brooklyn, NY native, she returned to her hometown and spent the next 12 years honing her skills at an outpatient affiliate of NYU Langone. It was there she first discovered her passion for Women’s/Men’s health and began additional coursework through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. In 2014, she became certified in Pelvic Rehabilitation, earning the PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification) distinction. Since then, Dr. Lauren has continued to work in the field of pelvic health, focusing on the unique needs of male, female, and gender-diverse clients. She continues to seek out learning opportunities with a focus on Trauma-Informed care, and most recently completed coursework to become a Prenatal/postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) through Core Exercise Solutions.

In her free time, Dr. Lauren very much enjoys running (a two-time NYC marathon finisher!), competing in multi-distance triathlons (She “Escaped from Alcatraz” in 2012!), and spinning on her Peloton. She maintains a small backyard flock of hens, and welcomes any conversations about raising chickens. She is a wife to her exceptional husband, and a mother to her hilarious son. Lastly, she is a bona fide snack enthusiast, and enjoyer of Netflix programs. No spoilers, please!
